Light reflector through my camera

Hi all,
Im just having small problem, As I was shooting in the meals area at the wedding. I wanted to get the ceiling lights int othe picture and i got those light (I don’t know what it call)See image below, Do I have to get a better flitler to stop having those problem? or is it the len? I have a Sigma 50 1.4
What kind of filter did you use? I dont really know much about filters but I do know
that they can actually cause flare/ghosting when shooting into the light. Maybe dont
use a filter??Johnny, would you not just take off the filter (it sounds like you had one on) ?

MarkJust found out, it’s the filter.i tried in the kitchen with those lights with and without and can see a BIG different.lucky I just found the problem at the end of the wedding.defo no point using those filter now cos it’s much sharper as well… Thanks for your feedback
