Lighthouse

It’s my first conversion from colour to B&W, so any comments on that are also welcome (contrast etc.).

Hi Frank,
I think the shot has potential but there too much in it.
The detail on the lighthouse is good but there is too much sky – which is very soft.
I suggest a crop to eliminate the flag pole on the left and a similar crop on right to balance. Then a Sharpen Edges to further highlight the detail.Tom.
