Lighting hire

hey
got this shoot coming up (well i’m assisting an american) and he wants some gear …. where could i get :
2 x Strobe lights ( and soft boxes ) and battery packs ?
1 x smoke machine
yes thats right .. a smoke machine – i did say he was american !!

lukewell I know practically every night club in ireland have smoke machines I think its actually liquid nitrogen they use not sure though so that shouldnt be too hard to source. Any of the shops that hire DJ gear or kareoki gear rent these smoke machines out if your having no joy I know there is a shop in limerick on the corner of parnell street that rent these out but I would think every city in ireland has some shop that caters for the thousands of eminem wannabees out there :lol: hope this helps
As stupid as this sounds…I think Argos do smoke machines….or there’s that place behind Trinity College….arghhh….I forget the name of it….
ring any of the theatre lighting companies, they will have smoke machines,

is onecant think of others of the top of me head but htere are a few
also the AV hire companies will have them

the geni’s i hired from HSS hire … really helpful bunch also.
