I have a Gossen Lunasix meter which I got on ebay. Its an old style
meter, cost around the €40-50 (I think) 2nd hand. Few others here on
the site have it also. Does the job just fine. Might be an option for you.
I got the Gossen Lunasix 3s based on feedback form here and I’m delighted with it. It’s quite simple to use and the “s” on “3s” just means it has a dial with the “Zone System” on it too.
If you are looking for compact alternatives, I can personally recommend the Sekonic L-208 Twinmate, which I find great for quick and dirty light readings, for the type of shooting I do. The L-208 will set you back about €80 and is tiny, but with a caveat that the metering cell and diffusion dome aren’t huge,
