This is a golden oldie…taken on Fuji Velvia slide film about 4 years
ago…went through 3 rolls of 36 exposure film to get this, the rest
were just awful..thank god for digital.
Picture was taken at f8 for 12 secs at 2.10am in the morning as the storm
passed through.
If there’s one photograph I want to get it’s lightning. There was a cloud that came over Wexford this evening – I watched it for ages and there were several swirling elements where the smaller whisps was definately rotating within the cloud. I had both cameras ready should we see a mini tornado, or at best lightning…it didn’t even rain!!!
Great shot Noel, well worth 108 shots I’d say. I’d love to see more either from you Noel, or anyone else lucky enough to catch this free firework display.
