Ali, I am so taken with the sharpness of your images, what equipment do you use, settings? and do you sharpen much in PS?
Hey wjk :) Thanks a mil. I’m using a Nikon D200 at the moment with the 18-70 lens. In studio i tend to meter for f11 for portraits and for that lens it works pretty well to give a greater depth of field and keep everything in the frame as sharp as possible (need we discuss the circle of confusion :shock: ). f11 isn’t going to be the sweet point in every lens but a general rule for me is never to go past f16 in studio. I shoot RAW too so my images require a bit of sharpening.
And here’s one my dog. His name is Meeko and he’s a Pyrenean Mountain Dog. Due to his size he has been mistaken for a bear :P
Whoa, the size of him!! I like big dogs – the bigger the better, but Dave’s dog looks so cute, its impossible to not to like them!
