Limerick Junior Hurling Match

I’ve never shot a hurling match before, but having looked at these and having read the comments i’d be very interested in giving it ago… if you’r heading out in limerick during the week,mind if i tag along.. i’d imagine we are living not a million miles away from each other if you were shooting a Doon – Caherline match
Hi Niall.
I was going to head to a match tonight out in Pallasgreen at 8.00, but I’ve to give someone a lift to Adare at the same time. I could still make the second half though maybe.
I’m actually from Galway, so don’t really know the scene too well down here. A lad I work with is involved with Doon – that’s why I’d lean towards them.
He was saying this morning that the Junior A county final is on Thursday evening in either Bruff or Caherconlish. That might be better, do you think? I’d be able to get there in time for the start of the match anyway.
Let me know what you think. I live in Dooradoyle and work over by UL, so if it was handy for you, we could travel out from town together.
I’m easy either way, tonight or Thursday is good for me. I am working in UL ( student on Co-op ) and living out near Bruff… so i can make Palasgreen or Bruff / Caherconlish easly enough
Sure, we can try for tonight so. It will be half-time when I get there. I’m sure we’ll know each other by the fact we’ll have big cameras – no need to wear a carnation or top hat anything like that!
What’s the set up in Pallasgreen like, do you know? Is there wire around the field?
BTW, this lad is a good resource for Limerick hurling fixtures and results.
i dont know what the story is in palasgreen, i’ve never seen their playing feilds / pitches. if i aim to be there at half time also, what time should i be looking to get there?
The game is supposed to be at 8, so the second half would be getting going at 8.40 or 8.45 I suppose.

that match has been moved to Doon at 7.30 tonight. The pitch at Pallasgreen must be too wet or something.
I won’t be able to make it now unfortunately. Thursday night will suit me better (as it’s on in town). Would you be up for that instead (or as well)?
Thursday would suite me fine!! Let me know the details of the match on thursday when you know them and we can arrange to meet then!
