Haven’t posted anything here in ages, one from friday evening, taken in a forest just a few miles from where I live.
Ibumped into PI member gary mcparland while he was taking his picture (posted in the landscape section). Had a little Olympus Trip with me, and felt mighty lucky to get some nice shots as the sun went down. Too bad the bloody thing wasn’t loaded :oops:
Out again the next day and took this on the iPhone, another one of those pictures that momentarily makes me feel like selling all my cameras! *sigh*
For anyone who cares, it was the hipstamatic app, with a John S lens and Pistil film.

I really like it, the camera and app do a nice painterly job, dappling (probably not a word) in the colours.
But don’t give up on the film cameras yet! I’d wager a decent lens and film would give this shot much greater depth.Martin

I did manage, eventually, to get a few on film. Here’s one from the Lubitel, on Portra 400 VC.

They are beautiful photos, really! I can’t believe the top one is from an iPhone, super stuff.
Yeah the iphone one, at this size at least, is the better, although the second is another great shot.
