ossie13Participantossie13ParticipantHi sorry I had to get off early…but sis in laws 30th Party tonight, have to have my yearly bath(whether I need it or not) and get the glad rags on
Thanks Sinead, even though you turned up late, for organising the get together and great to see a good turn out!! Put a few more faces to names!!
…..and got to hold the “plank”………..!!!!
Hope you all had a good day and looking forward to seeing some shots including the “infamous” group shot, and maybe a few from the pub!!
Cheers Steve
MartinParticipantSorry could not make it, could not get into town for midday…. Got to fire off a few roles anyhow in the afternoon for World Toy Camera Day
Im sure the turnout was good and everyone had a good time so looking forward to seeing your pictures….

AlessiaParticipantGuys, it was a great day, indeed! Thanks to Sinead who organized the event and thanks to everyone, I really enjoyed it. Now that I had the chance to meet and know some of you, it’s even more sad to leave :( but, as I told already, I will keep on posting silly stuff and crappy pictures on this forum… at least if you won’t ban me after i move ;).
Thanks again
a.P.S.
Since lots of you helped me with my Lubitel, I’m happy to let you know that it’s now working again…… Thanks you all (and I think that the intervention of Joseph was decisive!)shutterbugParticipantThanks Sinead, a great day only sorry I couldnt have stayed longer,
dropped my films in to be developed before I had to head home looking
forward to seeing what I got (if anything) :)Alessia glad you got your Lubi working!
Great to meet you all and already looking forward to the next time :)
randomwayMemberI too have to apologize for leaving early… too much fresh air took me right back where I was a week ago… can’t stop coughing. And no, the cigars have nothing to do with it.
stcstcMemberi enjoyed myself, good company, good fun
love that quality feel of the holga
ExpresbroParticipantYup…thanks to Sinead for putting it together. Was a really good turnout…I think we gave the barman in the Purty Kitchen a heart attack when all of us arrived in and started ordering coffee :-)
Great to meet up with some familiar faces from PI again. I’ll probably have some pics in time for next years Toy Camera Day ..hehehe!
Alessia..you are quite right…now that we’ve met you it will indeed make your leaving sadder.
You were really lovely and it’s a shame that we are going to lose you for our meet ups.
But you keep posting here…there are no borders on the WWW :-)
Robbie
P.s Steve ..stick some of those Wiiiiiiiiiiiddddddde angle shots up..dying to see them.
pallotronParticipantThe italian crew has left home ealier this morning and just arrived to the base ship.
Was a pleasure to meet you all.
We will be posting pictures soon. See you next time.
Angelojb7ParticipantWas great to see everyone again, meet some new people too-
but I missed a couple, sorry for that-
A lot of people showed up, and I had to take a few hours off in the afternoon-
and when I returned, a lot had left-Look forward to seeing all the pictures now-
FintanParticipantthanks to Sinead for organising and to everyone for making it a great day. there are some seriously cool people on this forum.
as for the photos, i’ve a sinking feeling the ‘shutter’ in my holga is a bit sticky and dreading developing the film but anyway…..
SeoirseMemberYes, thanks Sinead for organising the meet up yesterday.
What a lovely day it was in terms of weather, light and company?
Thought the group photo was a great laugh with the randomer coming along to press the shutter release for us! :D
I was delighted to meet up with everyone including some I hadn’t physically met before:
Jenny, Sharon, Angelo, Rog, Steve (Ossie) Steve (stcstc), Gerry to name a few.
Some cool cameras on display including the jb7 plank, Robbie’s ETRS, Rog’s Fuji, Gigi’s Ducati,
Zoltan’s little stylish Russian number, Gerry’s Blue Holgas’, Annettes’ RED Holga, Dave the Darkroom even had a little p&s,
Lubitels to beat the band…. oh and nearly forgot Steve’s Lomo Fish Eye 8) .
Surely the coolest ‘potential’ cameras though were the two beautiful wooden boxes which Fintan
brought along for Gigi and Martin which contained the IR film.
Those boxes would convert to 6×12 pinholes so easily…!!!
Anyway, I had to head off in the early pm to a funeral but I did manage to shoot some images using a zone plate.
Have never used it before so I am curious (i.e. dreading) the results but maybe I might be surprised.
Anyhoo…Great to see you all.
:D
