Well after Daves announcement I cant imagine that it should be a different day :D

I will try my best. It works as well as any date for me.

Thanks for trying so hard Sinead. I am looking forward to it, and as far as I can tell, will be there. Hope so!

Would be on for Oct 17th, think it would be a great day to have it on…

Think its too late leaving it till December, lets pick a date and make a decision, like the civil service on here decision making wise, people will only lose interest like I am starting to…

I’ll get back in my box now :-)

Emm Steve, I wouldn’t consider it Lofi :)
Its a Russian rangefinder, glass lens (exchangeable), all metal and built like a tank (I have a Fed 5) :)

    Medium format?

    mmm nope.
    an ultra-wide&slim.
or an Holga (if you like MF)

or you can play with the Retinette, but that has a Schneider lens and no sign of wood, so it’s not a toy camera.

    That’s brilliant!! lol…

Folks, don’t panic about not having a toy camera, I have a few extra that can be borrowed if need be.
Feel free to bring vintage, hand knitted, modified cameras too.

But, I’ll be doing a kit inspection at the start of the day to make sure everyone has at least one LoFi camera.

So, are there races on the 17, or are we back in Dublin?

We need to decide a meeting place and time. IFI was great last time, nice coffee in there and really great food out on the street.
    Loads of buzz too.

    What do you all think?

    Well vintage I can do-
and knitted maybe, if I can get my shutter back from Alan in PRS in time…

But unless I can get a lot of fuzzy going,
I reckon I won’t be able to post anything in that flickr group-

You know how strict those secret agents are…

And thank you for the offer Gigi, much appreciated-
but you might just need that Holga yourself…

Joseph – you haven’t disappointed yet in the blurry stakes, I have every faith in you.

Lorraine – Yes, that counts. I’ll add you to the list!

    All very exciting innit!!
