Hi Guys, well, this is my second post on this forum… man, i only found it today and it’s brilliant..
Anyways, below is a shot i took in London back in april, by the Gerkin.. The light reflected off the windows to the ground..
Enjoy,
AlanmgstParticipantAlan i like the play of light and shadow and seeing only part of the figure in the shot add a sense of
mystery to it well seen and works very well in black and white.Mick
PeteMcDMemberThis is beautiful. The composition is exquisite. Perfect moment with the man walking out of frame, the shadow. The overlapping light coming from different directions. This is really nice.
Constructively…in post- I wonder if you could add a little local contrast to bring more texture into the pavement, but without upsetting the beautiful balance of lights and darks? But I also wonder if it even needs it. Could the whole thing be brighter without losing the highlights too?
HelenMParticipantWhat a really strong image! Almost dark and menacing!
And welcome to the forum :Dossie13ParticipantalancotterParticipantExpresbroParticipantA very striking image Alan..and well spotted…lovely use of light.
Had a quick look at your site…some really beautiful photographs, especially the main pic on the site…The Mirror in Bordeaux..beautiful shot.

for a minute-j
