love the colour version of this pic..but love the mood of sepia – looking forward to hearing advice/comments
mwallParticipantI like the creepy mood you’ve created…is the cloud for real? Wouldn’t mind seeing the colour version.
ladyardilaunParticipantHi mwall many thanks for your comment :-) – yes indeed the cloud is real – this picture was done combining 3 images together and the particular evening was perfect as the clouds were fantastic..will post up colour and see what you think – thanks again
johnnycorcoranParticipantladyardilaunParticipantMany thanks Johnny – appreciate you taking the time to look and comment :-)
Joey CParticipantagree with jonny, the devils in the details as they say, lovely conversion too.

jodal1975ParticipantladyardilaunParticipantmwallParticipantladyardilaunParticipantHi Mwall…sorry for delay computer issues….this pic was taken in Clonbur, County Galway.
mwallParticipantyou wouldn’t believe it…I’m taking a hill walking group to Clonbur next Feb for a weekend…will take camera also!
markclehaneParticipantThat’s a gem of a B&W image! Please don’t post the colour version – you’ll only spoil it for me
If I had to find some fault with it though, it’s that I seem to notice a bit of a halo around the top of the trees on the left side and to a much lesser extent, around the belfry and cross of the church. Apparently this can be a common enough problem with HDR so hopefully someone more adept at this kind of processing could advise. Still an absolute cracker though so hopefully I haven’t spoiled the party
Mark.ladyardilaunParticipantHI Mark
Many thanks for your comments appreciate you taking the time – Yes Indeed there is a litle Halo in the pic where you stated – this was my second attempt at HDR – still trying to combat this issue – it was one of the main reaons I converted this image to B & W ! Had a look at your website and was blown away – you have some fantastic shots esp Black Valley !
