Very striking shot Robert. Can almost feel the cold through the screen. I really like it.

    Where did you shoot this?

    Very interesting indeed Robert.

I’ve never seen Slieve Donard in such a light.

Tell us the secret. Is it polarised? And where is it?

The bird is a little bonus too.

Nicely composed + great light + great subject = Cracking shot :D

Shame the bird’s not at a more attractive angle, but really minor point, and unless you’re a part time wizard, this was probably the best you could have got at the time!

    Excellent image Robert.
Very dramatic with lots of texture, mood and interest.
Me, I’d keep the bird in…
    Great work

Wonderful image and great mood – there’s something about the sky that’s bugging me. I’m not sure whether it’s the post processing, it seems to lack depth (especially on the right hand side of the mountain just under the bird). Not sure if that makes sense. That said – super image and very well composed.

    Yeah. Something just isnt right.

As Ali said, it looks like the sky has no depth.

Likes it been superimposed onto the image.
