lonely trees daylight and hate those midges!

Just noticed SB posted a night version of these same trees in Sally Gap :-) . This is a day version and yes if anyone has advice on a midge deterent it would be much appreciated. I was devoured up there!

Nice shot, really powerful sky.
I use tea tree oil for those midges,a half a dozen drops diluted with water in a small spray bottle does the trick.
