Looking for a portable lighting kit

    I would like to purchase a portable lighting equipment. I am considering a cheap
    battery power supply manufactured in the Philippines. I am undecided to
    purchase it online: http://www.innovatronix.com. Any one who knows where I can buy it
    locally?

    I have emailed manufacturer of Explorer batteries and they
    actually refer me to Barker Photographic :)

    Thanks anyway! :)

    The trouble with cheap kit from the Far East is that it is usually also nasty, and comes with un-earthed two pin plugs. Not really made for any kind of serious use.

    My purchase was delayed due to unexpected circumstances… But I’m still glad! New version of the battery packs I am looking for will be released this summer! I’ve seen it from Lighting Rumours site:

    http://www.lightingrumours.com/new-tronix-xt3-and-explorer-mini-from-innovatronix-959″ onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false;

    I wonder when this will be available with Barker Photographic.

    I have read reviews using the same battery pack with flashes like Bowens and Elinchrom. I am not sure with the plugs included in the package.

    We expect the CE verions during the summer. The current model that we stock is designed for use in Ireland (Correct Voltage, Hz and has Theree poin Square output sockets).
