Looking to BUY a recommended Camera for my Daughter

My daughter is 17 today and shows a good eye for photography, albeit with ordinary digital camera. I would like to buy her an SLR camera as a starter. Price guide in around €300. Anyone any ideas or know someone selling something reliable?

i intend to sign her up for classes etc.

I took this guy’s recommendation and got a 2nd hand D40 for €250. haven’t looked back.

If you prefer some personal service, Gunns on Wexford st in Dublin is a resonably priced family run store.

Hi Alex X, I have a Sony Alpha 100 DSLR camera + Sigma 28-135 lens for sale
at the reasonable price of €350.00. camera is in great condition as my son used
it only about 10 times for projects he had to do in college…it would be a great
starter camera for your daughter and the lens is spot on as well.
