Lost in the Crowd

I was home from work with the flu yesterday and trying to get some study done between naps, but as usual the camera came out and i stared messing.

This evolved from an idea i wanted to do with real people, but just never got the setting. Its just a bit of copy and paste from clipart into mspaint. I used to do some macro work with close up lens’s stuck to a bridging camera so they came out for this.

Was going to print out the little faces before imaging them, but i rather the pixelated montior effect, kind of a play on the fact that everyone is on the web, has a web persona, all seem happy but how do you know unless you look closely. ( a had also recently finished Alodus Huxley – Brave new world which i think of when i see this).

Didnt bother wtih the DSLR for this, used my small Canon s95 that goes everywhere with me.

Anyway, let me know what you think.

    Thanks!

I like this. Anti Bullying Campaigns spring to mind, screams awareness of online bullying for me.

I really like this, it is aesthetically pleasing and all the elements of the image support the intended meaning making it a very strong piece.
