this composition works better for me than the landscape version. the house sits better in the frame and the leading lines of the reflection seem more effective
Thanks Isabella, Its funny though , I would have thought the landscape version of this one that you refer to was the best of the shots from the series yet it carries no feedback :-) Its funny how you become emersed in your own work and start losing sight
something else that i have noticed is the hue/cast in many of your images. is that intentional? in this one it tends toward blue/cyan but works well. in the other it is very much magenta. one of your other recent landscapes, the one with the thorn tree and vignette in the left, is also very blue/green.
I like your exposure and composition, but the first thing that struck me was the photo should be presented in a square format. Where to crop I not so sure, but maybe a bit of both top and bottom and see how it looks.
