All I can say is wow! I was out there on Saturday for a stroll – I thought there was loads of potential out there. Love the clarity in this shot.
Nice colours and reflection. I notice that in Ireland the sky is not clear very often, so it’s not so easy to capture images like this.. I love that kind of sky, with only few cute clouds :)
I really like this, lovely colour. It’s amazing to see how much of an effect the lights in Limerick are having. How long was the shutter open for?
Thanks for the comments folks. There is loads of potential in around the lough gur area. The county council are building photographic & birdwatching hides along the south shore of the lough starting in august ( apparently )
If there are is anyone intrested in taking some night shots from the top of the hill, looking down over the lake, let me know. I intend on heading out there in the next few weeks, depending on the weather.Latchiko, the shutter was open for 30 seconds.
I would be interested in tagging along for some night shots. There is a great view from the top of the hill, but I’ve only ever been up there once and that was in the middle of the day. It would be interesting to see what the view is like at night!
I’d be up for heading out there as well some night lads.
Traipsing around fields with a load of camera gear in the middle of the night sounds like fun!
