Firstly I’ll head you off at the pass, I haven’t tried stitching before and didn’t use a tripod or special software, just layers and eraser, so I know the sky is a little odd in places. Here is the pano attempt of a similar shot I posted yesterday, from a different viewpoint.
Good colours and well balanced exposure, except for the dark trees on the left.
Nice to have a view towards Lough Dan and still see the north shore of Lough Tay.
However, I can’t help feeling that the image seems to tilt to the right.
That might only be because i am so familiar with the place though.
Thanks all for your comments, this kind of bright daylight scene isn’t my area really but it’s great when it works out. Makes me want to do more landscape stuff outside the project I’m working on.
Hauke, yes it does seem to me like the lake is about to drip off the side of the planet a bit, will try a rotate or free transform perhaps.
