low key portraits

set up a simple studio at home and spent the weekend taking shots,
all of my “victims” were shot with daylight only, no lights,
I hung black background (dress material bought from guineys) on the wall with bluetac and had a black fleece blanket to assist.
I also had a reflector but struggled as i had no assistant for most of the time.
I did minor adjustments in PS, mostly adjusting the black background
any C&C greatly appreciated

Because of the black blackground
they seem as if they are suspended in mid-air.
I’d prefer them to be grounded in some way.

thanks pixelle, you are 100% right, I will change crop to have the kids on the ground.

ps i obviously did BW and sepia in PS Too!
