I was trying to do some low key photos in the house. Dark room with light in the kitchen coming in and using the door to control the light. My model got bored and ran away and I ended up shooting other things in the house instead.
What do you guys think? Is there a way to reduce the noise? I was really trying for more solid black.
Have your ISO set as low as it will go, it will help with noise, though these shots
dont look overly noisy. What is the blue dot in the background? You should clone
it out it is a bit of a distraction. Increase the contrast a bit it will bring out the
black more.
jenny’s right, lower the iso as much as you can and get rid of the blue spot.
on top of that i suggest a smaller aperture (f/11 or f/16), a longer shutter speed and a tripod. usually the low key shots are in b&w.
i know my image is cropped a bit too tight but you get the idea :)
