As a memory of the event it’s a great shot, but on a purely photographic standpoint, afraid it’s not a strong shot for me…

Before anyone jumps in with it, It’s nothing to do with me being English :D:D

Speaking as an Englishman, I can only say…. Greenwash! Storming performance from Ireland and a great match. I watched down one of my locals in Scariff and the atmosphere was something else.

In a nice tidy block too. We can thank corporate sponsorship for that. Once went to an Irish soccor game in Landsdown as a guest of Eircom. It felt like they had a third of the stand booked out. Other sponsors probably had the same deal going on.

Not unexpected. You played well, fair dues… but it wasn’t against a world-cup-winning squad.

Having said that, Johnny… I mean, England *are* still the world champions.

Milk it while I still can ;-)

love it love it love it!!!!

by the way Ger, I took that shot just after the final whistle, hence the empty seats – I think some English fans were sitting there, wonder why they made a quick exit?
