This was taken last month in the Glenview Hotel gardens. I’d appreciate a constructive critique…thanks for taking the time to look at it. [SOOC image]
Lovely expression and moment captured here, to bring it up to perfect I could only suggest a little lift of the shadows in the eyes, a reflector or teenie tiny bit of fill flash would add a little sparkle.

Hi Lainey – I don’t really have anything further to add than Cian – reflectors are amust have ;) – but I did just want to say, I think the composition here with her body facing out of the image and the face tilted inwards is really lovely !! you should get straight out there and get some more

Thanks Lorraine – appreciate that :D She’s a bit of a natural poser – that positioning wasn’t planned so I can’t take credit for it. I did adjust my focus to the extreme right to keep her sharp. One thing about carrying a reflector though – although it creates lovely effects I find it a bit attention seeking when you whip it out on just a family day out. Maybe that’s just me and you get used to it with practice..
As I’m a scrapbooker I thought I would show you what I did with this photo – I know scrapbooking is not for the purists out there who believe a photo should speak for itself but scrapbooking is about recording memories and messages for years to come. This is just something I like to do for my kids..
