    Hi,

Looking to try out some Macro work,

Can anyone recommend the common type used for a Canon 300D,

Better again, does anyone have one that is no longer required and are prepared to let it go……..at a reasonable price?

    Money is tight…….not mentioning the “R” word….!!1

    Thanks

    Go for the Canon 60mm ef-s f2.8
You can get 1:1 magnification with it.
I love this lens! I will sell mine somewhere along this year because
I’ve gone to a Nikon system and it doesn’t make sense to keep two different brands.

Or you can try and get a manual aperture lens and a inverter ring, try and google that.

    Cheers

    Hi Adrian
I have one of those 60mm ef-s f2.8 with the original canon hood for sale.
Bought it about a year ago and it’s in as new condition.
    Bargin €210 and it’s yours.

    Hi Adrian,
    Sorry, just noticed this now.
    I never got a PM!

Are you still interested? I’m in Dublin this weekend and could bring it along.

I have just started a journey on macro and I spent about €50.00 ! to get these results . . .

It isnt that close but I will be posting better magnification pics soon.

I am using an old Canon FD 50mm F1.8 with a glassless adapter to EF mount, manual focus
    manual aperture.
