    Nice (realistic) movement in the water.

    Unfortunatley, in the first, the foreground interest rock isn’t that interesting IMO and I kind of want to look over it or behind it.

    The second is spot on.

    Hi Eshortie,

    I dont have much experience in timed exposures
    but the first thing that I notice is the lack of colour
    in these, I think the saturation could be pumped
    up a bit.

    Yes #2 seems to me to be a stronger one.

    I found the composition worked a little better with the inclusion of the foreground rock Des, but would agree it isn’t exactly interesting.

    Looking at them now I see what you mean, the greens are very weak in both

    Both smashing shots. I think they could both do with cropping from the top though. The bland white sky peeping through the trees makes the colours seem watered-down, cutting it out makes a stronger colour composition i.m.o.
