Making a 5×4 – useful site

Just came across this site today which has some pages with information on how to make
a 5×4 folding camera. It might be off use to anyone considering making an LF camera.

I still fancy making a 10×8 or half-plate and doing wet collodion photography.
Getting the chemical’s seems to be the most difficult there…

Great link Mark, I think I saw it before but didn’t save the address so glad you posted it. Making a 10×8 has crossed my mind a few times also. Maybe when I retire I’ll get the time :roll:

I came across this free pdf last night which you’re probably already aware of. He gives some brief instructions on how
to scale it up for 10×8.

Since last night I’ve being searching for lenses on ebay. A cheap and ancient process lens would be fine I think.
