Male Chaffinch

The birds were very active in the garden today, and when the sun
shone briefly I managed to get a few shots, I liked this one in particular
because of the background colour, it is a small lemon scented fir tree
and the colour is very vibrant at the moment especially when the sun
caught it. Any comments welcome.
Excellent shot Jenny, you’re certainly right about the background colour, it really adds to the shot. Exposure and detail are excellent also, well captured.
Go on, you have me curious, what’s your new lens.

Thanks Dave, got me a Bigma, I shall have to do press ups
so that I can carry it around with me. :)Congrats Jenny, you wont need to go to the gym anymore after buying that.
