Man’s Light Greets God’s Light

    HI there everyone

I was down at Dun Laoghaire harbour this morning and managed to get the sunrise, here’s the set. They are taken at the lighthouse on the west pier that sits at the entrance to the harbour.

The only post processing was to crop the images.

I hope you enjoy and all c&cs are most welcome.

    Thanks for looking.

Three very nice shots Paul, I think the third one stands out as the best
for me anyway, I think it is because the bottom of the frame is much
darker and so doesnt detract from the beautiful colours, even the smallest
hint of detail which can be seen in the other two tend to catch the eye.

Well done for getting out and about early, must have been nippy!!

The fact that ‘man’s light’ seems to to turned off rather spoils your catchy title. Never the less, your first shot holds most appeal for me.

    Thanks guys

It was a little nippy all right, but it was due to the wind, until I took up photography I never reallt noticed how windy Ireland is, even though I play golf I never comprehended it bedfore.

The lights are turned off at sunrise, this light has a green light, the light opposite the harbour entrance is red to aid navigation into the harbour.

    Paul
