Hello Dave, welcome to the site. good post-
Lovely exposure and tone, Nicely sited floodlights too, and a really quality light from them.
If this were mine, I’d have it straightened to within an inch of its life, but thats just my opinion.
I might also go there again and try to balance the floodlight with the last (or first) light in the shy, could pick up some interesting contrasts and colours in the corrugations.
Then I’d straighten it to within an inch of its life.
It would be nice to see a version with the roof edges running vertically but I don’t think the shot as posted is wide enough to fix it in photoshop. I still like the image as it is, it’s interesting, I thought it was a model building at first (in fact i still see a model) but I think that was mainly because of the “flash”.
Thanks a lot for the comments and suggestions.
The photo was taken from a 17th floor window using a 12x optical zoom, living up this high gives me a great chance to get shots at a slightly different perspective than many.
I’ve just recently got my hands on Photoshop CS2 version 9 so has soon has I get a handle on using it I’ll edit these around a bit more bearing in mind all the good advice above.
