Great band. Everyone should check em out.
I know its soft and a tiny bit blurred but I still like it.
Let me know!
RobMemberHi Flipflip
I know you quite like the first image (you said so) so I don’t want to criticise it too much. As you said, it’s a tiny bit blurred and soft. Maybe it’s my
monitor but it’s more than a tiny bit if you ask me, although that’s not what spoils the image for me. My problem is really with the angle of view; it’s
far too low, almost as if you were sitting on one of those short bar stools and she was standing on one of those tall beer crates in front of you, so
the angle is extremely unflattering with a line of sight directly up the right nostril right in the centre of the frame. The low white ceiling is also brought into
the frame and the merging of the coving in the corner just jars for me. I’m assuming this is from a small pub gig so there are limitations as to how much
you can exclude from a frame; I’d have been tempted to stand on a stool or something to bring myself more level with the singer. That said, I like the
conversion and the light and shadows on your main subject.Image two does nothing at all for me I’m afraid. There’s some sort of double exposure/ghosting thing going on that just makes the overall image
cluttered and distracting. You have some far better shots on your Flickr gallery in my opinion. Just my tuppence…Rob.

You’re right, it was a small pub alright but thats not an excuse, I couldve done it better if I had tried. I guess I got lazy.
