C & C very, very welcome. Still slowly learning. Not sure if this is a ‘snap’ or a photo. Go Raibh Mile.

I really like this one – very postcard-like. Hope you dont mind me posting a version that I worked on a little bit?

I would like to see the same scene in better lighting conditions e.g. during the ‘golden hour’ (hour before sunset)!

There is a foreground interest of sorts, but I would like to see you making better use of the fence to the left as a strong leading line.

I agree with SteveD. The colours aren’t punchy enough, (better in the edited version) so getting back there if you can with better light would deliver a cracking shot

But I think the composition is great and it is a really lovely scene :)

Can someone tell us newcomers to this great hobby of ours, the best way to go about getting more vibratant colours in a scene like this. One way I presume is via Photoshop. Early AM or the last hour before sunset, a polariser filter, any other tricks of the trade…..

And don’t forget the ol’ Velvia action in Photoshop. I live on it.

I’ll give this pic a run through it when I get home.

This type of landscapes are not of my taste. Sorry.
I don’t like ‘open water’ on both side between fields.
It should be more sharp as well.
