Me Da….

This is “me da” shot with my brand new Nikon D1 at ISO 800….dating all the way back to 1999. I love it! A new toy for me to play with. I might leave the D3 for serious work and have the D1 as my walkaround camera for a few weeks.

I like this shot and can see why it appeals to you. I’m new to digital slr and photoshop so I know FA about a lot of this. I just know that on a critique forum its a shame to see a cracking shot with no comments.
I love the clarity in the eyes, and the lighting seems quite natural (bit over exposed – I’d like to see more of the texture of this mans skin, his life). The depth of field seems a bit tight, his nose and his left eyebrow aren’t an issue for me, but the outside of his right eye and crow’s foot would have made this photo for me.
It is a beautiful expression and it is captured magnificenty
