Me New Nephew Snoozin’

Charlie the Golden Retriever 3 months old – I call him the nephew as he belongs to me sis and she treats him like a new born baby.
This is him snoozin’ on the tiles in me kitchen last night.

Must say I’m actually quite happy with this considering how it was taken – lying on the ground, pressure on the dodgy elbow of 100 screws, flash cable, flash in left hand, camera in right hand, too dark for auto focus, left hand too busy to turn the focus ring, ISO800, guess work on the shutterspeed & flash exposure.
Although it did hurt to have to re-size it for the web, it loses a lot of it’s impact.
Dare I say… I might even dust off the printer for this one… it must be the “family/child” sentimenal factor cos I’m a stingy sod when it comes to ink… “More Expensive than Gold” Joseph Burns said to me one day… and it always comes back to haunt me… especially with those dark prints.
