Having just received my L distinction last week, it got me thinking what exactly went into creating the panel. After the obvious ones like €40 application fee, €120 for mounting and approx €50 for printing, I started to think about the effort. Thought I’d share some of the facts.
I started in photography properly in Aug 2005 and got my distinction in April 2009. Just under 4 years. In that time I took 29147 photos an average of 24 per day ( seems like a lot, but I did have a year off travelling )
The earliest photo taken that made my panel was my 65th photo taken on 16/08/2005.
The latest one was taken on 01/12/2008 and was my 25684th photo taken.
My panel was made up of 1 photo from 2005, 3 from 2006 and 6 from 2008. My god the time has flown :-)
Congratulations. Any chance that you might make the pictures big enough for us to see. As it is. I was tempted to print them out and lick the back of them for a letter I wanted to post.
