First frame from the first roll of film through the Mamiya C330s TLR.
Ilford Delta 100, developed in Kodak HC110, printed on Ilford RC 7X5 (ran out of 10X8) paper. The second has been toned, in, blue toner. Never done that before.
Thanks again all for advice and suggestions. Your all very good.

jb7Participantvery good, it’s your tree-
Look good sinead, looks like your process is well sorted out-
It’s a long time since I’ve blue toned-
but I seem to remember that it gets more controllable as more prints are put through it-
the first few tone very quickly-Anyway, looks like that’s working well too-
First of very many more, I’m sure…
MarkKeymasterVery nice Sinead. The blue toning is very interesting…
How are you finding the C330 ? I’m considering getting one myself…
Cheers
jessthespringerParticipantJoseph – Thank you, it is my tree!
I think I need to sharpen myself up a bit on the processing end of things. Making sure I have the temperatures right, that sort of thing.
I tend to wing it a bit. But, I know I shouldn’t…Yes, it did go blue very quick, a bit less might have done.
Mark – Holy God! Another camera! It’s lovely Mark. A bit strange, the square composition thing will take a bit of getting used to, I think.
Is that why you are thinking of it, squares?Cheers both for the comments…
randomwayMemberLooks very contrasty, much stronger than what I usually get with Delta 100. You should have spent some more time with the composition in my opinion… I don’t like the mountain composed behind the tree, doesn’t feel right, the foreground looks to be a bit too much, too.
Mark, don’t listen to Sinead. Just buy one. It’s a beautiful piece of engineering, I was truly loving the looks of it. It would look great in your collection.
jessthespringerParticipantzoltan – Yes, quite contrast, I printed it fairly hard, grade 4, or 4 1/4 maybe. Also, the developer might (was) have been a little warmer than 20 degrees, so that might have something to do with it too. As well as the light, which was pretty harsh.
I’m not that hot on the composition either, I should have spent more time on it.And, it is a great camera… Almost makes me want to throw the rest of my cameras away!
FintanParticipantjessthespringerParticipantCheers Fintan, I was just happy there was something on the negs. That’s always good, innit!
GizzoParticipanteverything is good.
apart from the fact that I have the ‘square’ syndrome…..I want one of those!!!
jessthespringerParticipantrandomwayMemberjessthespringerParticipantFlip! I dunno about that! I think 8×10 is too big for me Zoltan…
Knitting seems to be popular around here at the moment.I’m still working on my Holga strap…

The bigger the better… you’re on your way to knitting the 8×10.
weren’t you selling all your gear????
randomwayMemberMarkKeymasterThanks Sinead.
I have 3 6×6 cameras already, but wanted something engineered a bit better.
