MeleKalikimakaParticipantMr.HParticipant
OK heres a recent one of me – I’m the one on the right. First pic I’ve put up for a long while (almost forgot how to do it). My passenger is a contibutary factor to my lack of photography outings of late.

Good use of the mask tool in photoshop there to superimpose your self in on the picture :-)

JodyParticipantExpresbroParticipantIs it a bird?
Is it a plane?
Nope..it’s just another lunatic photographer risking life and limb…
andy mcinroyParticipantIn retrospect, it’s my poor climbing friends I feel sorry for now.
Imagine climbing up some dark gully behind me and my tights only to come face to face with a pair of well packed plumbs.
It’s the stuff of nightmares.
nfl-fanParticipantI’ve heard it all now… straight from the donkey’s mouth:
“Andy McInroy has big nuts”
:?
andy mcinroyParticipantYes, my climbing rack contained a No.10 Hex Nut which I liked to call Big Bong.
My funniest experience in Snowdonia was a trip to an obscure and legendary route called Monolith Crack in the Ogwen valley.
The guidebook said that the climbing route was practically inside the cliff and described it as “a legendary subterranean adventure unique to north wales”. I gathered together brave group of likeminded idiots to have a go at it. After a week of planning and a 2 hour drive into north wales we then proceeded to climb up two pitches of easy rock. We were then confronted with the start of Monolith crack. The guidebook described how the climb was best achieved by a “good strong thrutch up the inside”. Sadly, not one of us could fit inside it, the guidebook having failed to mention its 20cm width. So there was nothing else for it except to abseil quietly back off the pitch in embarrasment.
To celebrate our great achievement, we treated ourselves to a slap up fry in Llanberis in the hope of returning another day. We never did make it back.

I wonder does BM has some tales to tell here? Or maybe some humorous photographic evidence that he can share? :D

BTW: That was a valiant effort to side track the fact that you’ve announced to PI that you have ‘well packed plumbs’.
Do you reckon that AP might do a spread on this or maybe BBC North Ireland Radio might cover it?
This is glorious news… the best I’ve heard in a long time.
andy mcinroyParticipantHehe JB,
Laughing away here.
NFL, He already caught me unawares as the “cave elf” I must get my own back
NFL, if I ever go out with you, what’s it worth for me NOT to post a photo of you taking a dump inside your delicate rock arrangement?
If I ever catch you abusing rocks like that, I’ll personally deposit my own arrangement inside the hood of your Parka.
That is all.
Andy
nfl-fanParticipantMore tactics to try and detract from the fact that:
Andy McInroy said he has tightly packed Plums
