This is wonderful.
A beautifully captured, tranquil scene.
Nice and simple but still very strong. I might tend to crop out the two little bits of encroaching vegetation on the far left and right just to tidy it up.
But excellent all the same. The subtle reflections in particular really catch my eye.

earthairfireParticipantWhat he said… :D
No seriously – I totally agree and there is nothing else I’d change. Great shot!
PS – Welcome to your new addiction!

Brian_CParticipantFirst and foremost, welcome to madhouse on here. Maybe pop over to the Introductions area.
The image is really nice, as pointed out I’d crop out the two little bits on either side. I love the calm dreamy feel to it. Very nice.
MarkKeymasterBeautiful image and yes I agree with the guys on the minor cropping.
Also with Brian, introduce yourself to the good folks on here so that they can say hi back. From me, well welcome to the site. You’re off to a great start in my opinion :)
neilmcshaneParticipantI with Andy on this one to crop the dark veg on the left and right sides. However it is still a wounderful image.
dan_cParticipantThanks for replies. I know I have to clone some veggies out. I was being lazy. Thanks for feedback.
DanRodcunhaParticipantHi Dan,
First of all welcome to the forums.
Great picture you got there, fantastic setting and athmosphere I agree with the previous comments though on the two small cros on the far left and right of the frame.
Looking forward to see more of your work.
Regards,
Rod
RobertoMemberWelcome to the Forum. More Clare photographer, it’s good!
Very nice introduction.
I like this photo because the foreground tree is black and in focus what bring up more the mist.
I am with Andy as well about the right side of the photo.dan_cParticipantthis field was actually flooded. We had so much rain here in Clare…. glad the spring is coming.
Cheers Roberto, glad to find you here….
DanmgstParticipantNoely FParticipantJMcLParticipantIt’s a fantastic image, again the only thing detraction being the aforementioned vegetation, the one on the right especially.
Have you tried a panoramic crop of it? I think it’d work well too, though it would give a different feel certainly
