Took this as during a wander around an Art Gallery in Cologne.. I was spotted by the staff but smiled, waved and then ran away :) worth taking the chance ??

Am firmly of the view that Modern Art is a swizz……not all of it obviously but a lot of it. Damien Hirst with his diamond skulls and pill cabinets a prime example….art for rich russians that own yachts and football clubs.
Now back to the photo…..yes worth taking a chance, the space makes it.
Definitely worth taking a shot! I love the sense of space and the way the art viewer is sitting. Great stuff.

Had this up on the monitor as I was doing stuff around the room..glanced across at it and was startled by how perfect the light is in it.
I just love it..love the perfect composition..love the complimentary tones..love the recognizable feeling of contemplation..well caught~~

I like how the whole thing works. The camera to the gallery visitor, to the picture and the room.
The gallery visitor really connects the whole thing together for me and his pose is wonderfulAfter reading some of the comments I have an image in my head of a similar photograph of someone sitting looking at this image on their computer screen…with the same thought in their head…”What the **** is it?”….:-)
An image like this takes me back to my days in Art college when people from the “Fine Art” department would try to convince you that what they had produced was in some way intellectually conceived…and not something that your Mum had tried to clean up after the mess you had made…..
I’m glad you all like it – for me I just liked the engagement of the man with the picture.. I wandered around the gallery thinking about how dumb I am that I didn’t really “get” much of what I saw and he sort of stood out because he really seemed to be absorbed .. so I couldn’t stop myself – with no other camera on me I took it using my phone :oops:

I think different people will get different thoughts from
a peice of art like this.‘Art appreciation’
I never got to Art college, but I still paint.
Most of the time when I come accross a peice of art lke this one
I am always wondering how the artist did it!Nice Photo, I think it is slightly under exposed, I think it should be brighter.
