Pictures are still very very nice, model debate not important in relation to photos, but as a BMW owner (for sale if ya want it lol) i will back up the M3 argument, they are the real deal. And damn nice too!

For the record they are real M3’s. I think the one SGt Major is thinkin of is the M3 CSL, which has asn air intake on one side only. Lots of people track their road car, and therefore cars seen on track have fog lights.

Just do a google search or a carzone search for M3’s and you will clearly see.
They one in the picture above is the new model M3, less than 2 years old. The ones origanally posted by mr enjoi are the version before it.
It’s confusing :)
I see them with fogs on google, I need to completely rethink my car id process now though :D
