Monitor Calibration Problem

Hi folks,

I’ve found myself in a bit of a pickle when I try to calibrate my Asus VS239HR monitor running off my Mac Mini. I recently invested in a Data Color Spyder 4 Pro. Before running a calibration the software prompts me to set my monitors colour temp. to 6500k. My monitor doesn’t have an option to choose the temperature, it only has options for cold, normal, warm and user. The user option has 3 RGB sliders which are by default at their highest setting of 100 each. I don’t have a clue how to get a decent calibration set up here, any ideas ?
