I like it.
I’d lighten it a little with levels, and that may also result in a little more contrast – the midtones are dominating most of the shot.
Composition-wise, those birds are perfectly placed. :)MadeleineCalaidoWeberParticipantMaybe i am crazy but i thought you already posted that
Anyway: a wonderful dark and mystical image with a fantastic sky, very special mood here!
DeeboParticipantGreat shot, really liking this.
Lots of interest all parts of the shot.
DeealancotterParticipantThanks for the feedback guys…
Chris, cheers and i agree with you i think…
Madeleine, poor Madeleine ;-) I seem to be giving you the impression that you are going crazy lately, but alas, you’re not going crazy, you have seen this before, but on my flickr and you left a comment.. Thank you..
Cheers Deebo, appreciated..
MadeleineCalaidoWeberParticipantalancotterParticipantshutterbugParticipantLovely very dramatic shot, but just cant help feeling it would be
better without all the people, thats just me tho……….like solitude :)alancotterParticipantIt probably would be much better with no people, but id have to be there a 5am for that and unfortunately that was not possible on this trip…. Thanks for the feedback.
aoluainParticipantHi Alan,
I like this but it is too dark and there is a lot of detail lost in that darkness.
I like it with the people, they lead the eye in nicely to the monument,
it looks as if they are making their way to it, they probably were !!!Nice one.
Alan
alancotterParticipantCheers for the feedback Alan.. and it’s noted. Ya, all those people were making their way to it, it’s a very very popular tourist destination and one that i’d highly recommend as even the surrounding landscape is interesting…
justaguyParticipantPity, Going to France and have wheather like that. You could have stayed home and enjoy the sun
