First time actually going outside to take a picture of the big thing in the sky and I’m quite pleased with the results. I really need a new tripod though,must have misplaced mine so this was shot hand-held. A bit of a crop to make up for the short lens. C&C welcome…
Nice one, I tried getting shots of the moon before too, cameras metering got savagely confused and overexposed. Had to use manual, anyone else found the same prob?
Yeah I found that myself as well. I found that the ” normal ” rules of night time shooting go out the window. i.e. no long exposure.I suppose it is because you are actually capturing sunlight reflecting off the moon so it makes sense in a way.
