Like no 2 too, the light trail sets the moon up nicely

No 2 is amazing, i love the mood and the colours its very well exposed, only one thing i’d crop a bit off the sky to give it the rule of thirds then print it and hang it up! well done.

Very good Des. Agree with cropping a bit off sky, down to the big cloud on the left. Classic stuff!!……….John!

    Thanks for the comments all!

The moon appearing like that was a real bonus, and I tried to make the most of it.

Its not a HDR as such as its from the one exposure and I just used layers & masks to try to get the right exposure throughout.

I will have a look at the suggested crop later…… this is one of many compositions I tried, which are still waiting attention.

During one of the 8 sec (or so) exposures, the Rescue Helicopter flew through – leaving a white streak with red dots across the shot – I showed it to my 7 year old and told him it was Santa on a test flight :) ….. he didnt believe me but it was worth a try!

    Thanks again
