as i can see from #3, the match was during the day so you had daylight and a pretty strong one. why are the photos so dark? maybe the contrast in pp is a bit too much
Thanks for looking Voicu…….Number 1 and 2 were taken when play was under the shadow of the stand and I wasnt quick enough to adjust ISO value so brought up exposure a tad in pp…………….prob need more practice at this……number 3 was as they exited from the shadows…liked the way the sun was like a spotlight on the players and nearly dark behind………any more info appreciated Voicu thanks.
there are few tricks which i learned on this site and one of them is: don’t be afraid to use a higher iso.
anyway, you don’t have to change the iso everytime when the players are moving from shadow to light, otherwise you’ll loose the entire match. set the shutter speed higher than 1/500, set the iso from 400 up and concentrate on focusing and framing. good luck!
Thanks for that info Voicu…..will deffo try that next time out…. I think I had my ISO at 200 with a shutter speed of 1/1600 I if I can remember….prob WAY too fast for GAA football..
