More PI LoFi Jolly Pictures – Print Scans
-
jessthespringerParticipant
Some more from the LoFi day in Dublin.
Kodak Tri-X 400, printed on Ilford MG Glossy paper.
I still have more pictures to come. 120 colour film.
Sinead
randomwayMemberClass pictures again, Sinead, I like all three. The last one is very unusual, you wouldn’t expect him to look up in the camera… did you scream or shout to draw attention?
The first one is a bit depressing… a nice sunny day, and she is sitting behind the bars alone..
Looking forward to seeing the rest.

Zoltan, you wouldn’t believe it, it was so embarrassing, all day,
with all of our day release project screaming down from the top of the bus in fake American accents-
(though some of them not so bad…)More good pix sinead, you can really see the effects of that scratched plastic lens-
I think it’s better when it’s not pointed directly at the light, as in these ones here-
I like the ‘OK RIGHT’ picture, well spotted-
and the top one too, not really depressing as such…It’s interesting how different all the pics from the day are,
doncha think?Very good, can’t wait for the colour now…

ExpresbroParticipantAll I can think of when I saw the first shot was..”Oi..stop taking pictures!!!”
That is the same person isn’t it? :D
5faytheParticipantHi Sinead,
Love the motorbike one.
Has the look of a guy in a movie about to pull
a gun, use it and speed off.He has that ” come on, make my day” type of look.
I think you were lucky to make it out alive.
Y’all have produced some really good images.
Enjoyed looking at them.
John.
jessthespringerParticipantThank you boys…
Zoltan – The guy on the motorbike, I took that when we stopped at traffic lights,
I think he just maybe sensed me looking at him, if I’d waited another second,
I would have got him smiling up at me…
That lady in the first wasn’t very happy about having her picture taken, not happy at all…Joseph – Well, someone had to make up for the Doll not being there!
I think your right about not pointing it directly at light, I must remember that.
I like the ok right too, but I did think it was going to be look right.Robbie – yes! lol, that was her…
Well, I really should send my colour film off…
And, yes, I love seeing how different they all are.
John – Thank you, glad you liked them. Maybe you’ll join us next time?
Thanks again,

Would I have to build a camera?
Looks like a Canon EOS20D or even my trusty old Pentax K1000 would
be a little out of their league on a trip like this.I’d probably even have to root out the old dev tanks.
Sound like hard work but looked like a lot of fun.
John.
mgstParticipantjessthespringerParticipantJohn – No, self building is not a requirement. Holga’s are cheap, less that 20 euro, there are lots of other LoFi cameras too..
Mick – Cheers! You’ll have to come next time too…
Thanks again all,
SineadaoluainParticipant3 crackers there Sinead especially #’s 1 & 2 for me!
there certainly are some great batches of images from the day out!
nice one, I still have 1 roll to collect from the lab . . .
RobMemberAnother great set Sinead, and looking forward to seeing the rest too…
Finally got my own to the lab, but I won’t be picking up scans until maybe
the middle of next week. Hopefully I’ll have gotten something from the day…jessthespringerParticipantAlan – Rob – Thank you! Yes, there have been some crackers posted,
looking forward to seeing some of them at the print exchange
