Mount Errigal: Colour or B&W?

    Hey folks,

I took a drive to Donegal a few days ago and photographed the area around Mount Errigal. I would like to know if you prefer the colour or B&W of this photo, and why!

I think the B&W has a little more drama, but I always prefer colour images.

And a few others from the day…

Thanks very much for the feedback,
    Steve

    Hi Steve,

    Nice set of pictures.

Nice compositions in all of them.

I think a few shafts of low light would have really lifted them but
you had to tke the light you had.

With regard to the question you posed? Both have their charms but
forced to choose I think the colour is my favourite.

    Cheers.

Really like your compositions here Steve, as John says pity you didnt get a bit of better light. B&W for me, just.

B&W for sure John. Certainly brings out the best of that shot and makes a great contrast between the light grass and dark road. (Red filter?)

Last shot is great – could almost be an abstract!

    And colour for sure…

B+W for me also, I really like the contrast. I think maybe you should plan a re shoot as with decent light the colour would look great. Really like the last one also, in golden light this would be a winning shot.

Nice Steve… I prefer the B&W…. I think it would be my pick of the bunch. Where did you take the third one from…? Where the midges out…?

Black and white for me too Steve. Excellent conversion which improves
    the overall contrast…
