I’m amazed that the people are that sharp given the shutter speed.
the piece of pine tree in the top right corner is unfortunate.
i would like to see what it looked like with the yellow tree area on the left (as far as the broad leaved flax, the start of the third W) cropped out so the image was dark green one side and yellow the other…

here it is in orininal 3:2 format – pine tree cloned out & increased in brightness.
Happily it found its way to the back page of the Examiner paper today.
i prefer the second crop although might look a bit over sharpened,
colours are lovely, it’s a good autumn image, a nice portrait but i still think there is something missing to take it to the next level.
lovely image tho.
