Jay KingParticipant
I’ve got that a few times lately… IE7 at home and work – I’d open one session, check for posts since last visit and then open 7 or 8 new tabs in that session… then IE just hangs and the memory starts to cry. I notice that each time it happens, one of the tabs is flashing as if there’s a prompt for action. Can’t view the tab to see if there’s anything causing a problem (funny avatar or something) so can’t tell what it is. I just end task and get some chocolate.
PeteTheBlokeMemberSounds like it could be a plug-in issue. I would certainly block GIF animations
and Flash movies. They are as much use as desktop backgrounds and screen savers.
And while I’m in the mood, does anyone want to hear what I think
about cappuccinos, baseball caps, tattoos, football or adults who read Harry Potter?RobertoMemberwhat do you have against the cappuccino….? … and Harry Potter is good relaxing movie…. :evil:
:lol:PeteTheBlokeMemberOnly joking Roberto. I like my espresso without the foam, and “froffy coffee” is
a bit of a Johnny-cum-lately to these shores.As for Harry Potter films, I didn’t mention them.

You’re just winding up again!
Anyway, I’ve upset people here before by saying that baseball caps
and tattoos are a good indicator of limited intellectual…oops…there I go again….And people who chew gum.
And people with personalised number plates (I don’t think this applies in the South though).
nfl-fanParticipantYou better not let GrahamB hear you don’t like tats… from what I hear he’s covered… and he does karate… and threatened to kick my butt only a couple of days ago with some Campo style he does.

It may have been that very same tattooed dood that objected to my prejudiced ‘tude.
nfl-fanParticipantHow much does it cost for a personalised number plate? I have to agree… by far one of the most ridiculous things I can think of… totally pointless… very popular in the UK… not sure why.

They can cost anything from a few quid to a hundred grand or more, apparently.
Then there’s the cost of the “Certified Wnker” documentation, but you can get
that for next to nothing if:- You are wearing a baseball cap;
You are chewing gum or;
You have tattoos.If you can read the certificate without moving your lips, you’re not allowed to have the number plate.
BMParticipantRobertoMemberI just want to tell you that using Opera as my default browser solved everything…..
Don’t have any problem with PI anymore and my CPU and RAM ussage are improved as well!!!Thanks a lot for the tip!
