    Hi Owen,

I really like this shot. Composition is pretty good (two thids sky and peak in right place).

The light coming down through the clouds is nothing short of stunning. I (and probably many landscape photographers) wait for hours some evenings for this magic light and it never happens – when it does – we’re at home looking at it through a window – so treasure these very rare moments when your in the ‘right’ spot for it.

If i was you – i’d go back to the RAW file – and save out two seperate exposures ( sky and forground) – and blend them together in photoshop – bringing out the foreground a little – and recovering the burnt out areas in the sky.

If you didn’t take in RAW – shame on you.
If you don’t have a camera capable of RAW and don’t use Photoshop – get a 3 stop ND Grad.

    bren
